Roman Glass Beaker with Wheel Cut Bands
A free-blown beaker-shaped glass cup with delicately undulating walls.
Nice amber yellow color.
The wheel-cut decoration on the vessel wall has been well executed with continuous horizontal striations, the central pair are more defined shallow grooves while the outer lines are surface level and appear to be tooling marks.
